Rodney Rowbottom has developed an embarrassing tendency to fade, and learns that there’s a family history of fading on his mother’s side. His father heads a secretive government facility, BAARMY, that conducts research into the genetic modification of plants and animals. On a visit to BAARMY, Rodney discovers that something is terribly wrong. Can he use his fading ability to fix it?
